How to Schedule and Pass Part 107 in 2023: Become a Certified Drone Pilot

To schedule a Part 107 test in 2023:

  1. Check eligibility: Be at least 16 years old, able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and physically and mentally fit to fly a UAS.

  2. Register with the FAA online.

  3. Schedule your test at an approved testing center, allowing enough time to study.

  4. Pay a non-refundable test fee of $160.
